தீக்குளித்தார் பட்டினிப்போர்
செய்தார் நாட்டில்
திரும்புகின்ற இடமெல்லாம்
மக்கள் எங்கும்
நாக்குழறத் தமிழ்ஈழ
வாழ்த்துச் சொன்னார்.
நன்றாகக் கைகோத்தே
ஆணும் பெண்ணும்

போக்குவரத் தார்எல்லாம்
பார்க்கும் வண்ணம்
பொழிமழையில் பொன்மேனி
நனையு மாறு
நீக்கமற நின்றிருந்தார்
கடைகள் மூடி
நிலைகுலைய வாழ்க்கைதான்
அடைப்புச் செய்தார்.

தலைவர்கள் எல்லாரும்
தம்மா லான
தமிழ்ஈழப் போராட்டம்
நடத்தி ஓய்ந்தார்
நிலைமாறும் சிலதலைவர்
தாமும் வந்து
நெடிதான ஊணர்ச்சிகளை
மிகவாய்க் காட்டிச்

சிலையாக வீற்றிருந்தார்
உண்ணாப்போரில்
சிறுத்தைபோல் வேங்கைபோல்
புலிக ளைப்போல்
விலைசொல்ல இயலாத
இளைஞர் எல்லாம்
விண்ணுயர ஈகத்தைச்
செய்த யர்ந்தார்

புற்பரப்பில் இறைத்திட்ட
நீரைப் போலப்
போராட்டம் எல்லாமும்
ஓய்ந்த தையா
கற்பரப்பில் சிந்தியஆ
நெய்யைப் போலக்
களப்பணிகள் கைவிட்டுப்
போன தையா
நெற்பயிரை விலங்குக்குத்
தீனியாக
நீட்டல் போல் நெடும்போர்கள்
நின்ற தம்மா.

கற்குருதி இராசபச்சன்
வெறிக்கொலைஞன்
கல்மனத்தை உடைப்பதற்கு
யாருமில்லை..

None There Is!


Self -immolations they committed,
And protest fast they conducted
People everywhere greetings gave to Eelam Tamils
Till their throats turned hoarse!

Men and women firmly held their hands together
To let all the onlookers see them,
Standing in proximity close,
Their bodies drenched in dripping rains!
All the shops were closed,
And life was brought to a stunning stand -still!

All the leaders, as for as they could,
Agitated for Eelam Tamils, and rested.
Some leaders who easily change their stand
Came to deeply demonstrate their passions high,
And Like idols the protest fast they adorned!
Like leopards, lions and tigers,
Many cherished youths immense sacrifices made.

Oh! Like water wasted on a grassy stretch,
Disappear did all the protests!
Oh! Like butter spilt on rock
Gone was all the field-work!
Like ears of corn as folder to animals extended,
The prolonged wars had ended
To break the stony heart of murderous Rajapakshe,
None now there is!
