Like the environment being protected
Do exort,the word should be protected
Like valuing keenly a thing being sold
Do love and cherish the glorious word

Like an encircling wall built
Do guard the benefits of the word
Like an infection’s menace being prevented
Do prevent the stealthy entry of alien words.

Like the voice being raised for women’s rights
Do raise your voice for famed Tamil
Like eyes being tended with care
Do deeply favour Pure Tamil

Like the land being defended by the Warriors
Do stoutly defend the honour of Tamil
Like songs in Tamil being broadcast through FM waves
Do not destroy ancient Tamil.

Like a walk for fat being reduced
Do let all-embracing Tamil walk
Like blood’s pressure being carefully seen
Do let mother Tamil be examined

Like worms and insects being weeded out
Do contemplate on weeding out foreign words
Like bathing for dirt being removed
Do remove the dirt of alien words.
